Ann studied design at the Southern College of Art before moving to London to follow a career as a graphic designer with various advertising agencies. For a period she was personal assistant and resident artist to Gordon Fraser, head of the famous greeting card gallery.

“On moving to Brussels, I became fascinated with the city’s Art Nouveau architecture which had a direct influence on my work. My linear pen and ink drawings of the city’s ancient buildings earned wide recognition. I also explore other techniques including etching and mixed media while experimenting with colour.”
