Trained at Chelsea School of Art, Joy studied under Henry Moore and Graham Sutherland.

Moving to Somerset in 1950, Joy founded Bruton Art Society in 1953.  She is also a founder member of Artists303 and although now in her nineties still exhibits with us regularly.

“My chosen subjects are landscape, design and flowers and I like to work in a variety of media, particularly oils and acrylics.”
