Susan studied at St. Martin’s School of Art (BA) and the Central School of Art (MA), London.

A still life painter and etcher, her inspiration is drawn from a love of the many varied shapes and decorative qualities of urns, pots and vases, combined with a fascination for pattern and ornament, both organic and man-made.

“It is the idea of discovery of surviving traces and remains of lost, decayed, buried relics, archeological finds and ship-wreck salvages that continually inspires.”
