Introducing...

Artists303 is a professional West Country ‘community’ formed in Ilminster in 1965 by artists living and working in towns and villages near the A303 (the road) with the stated aims of:

Promoting members’ work through exhibitions
Encouraging members to maintain a progressively
creative and serious approach to their work

Supporting the cause of the visual arts

Currently, there are 45 active members and entry is by election based on quality of submitted work. In this way the group has maintained its standards over the years and continues to enhance its reputation.

The strength of Artists303 lies in its diverse disciplines of painting, printmaking, sculpture and photography. Images produced by this contemporary and vibrant group of artists are both imaginative and energetic, and have broad appeal.

This blend of work makes for exciting exhibitions and generates great interest because the subjects presented range from abstract to figurative. Artists303 presents at least two self-curated exhibitions a year.
